Student Copyright Rights

And finally, students have copyright rights also. Unless you have signed away your right, a student who creates any original work in a tangible form automatically holds the copyright for that work. Such student works include, but are not limited to, papers, music, painting, photography and even emails. A faculty member who wishes to use your work for any purpose should always seek your permission first.
